As the railway infrastructure within the port and the connections between the port and the road network are currently not adapted to the existing and expected needs, interventions aime to upgrade the operations and improve capacity.
The overall objective of the CEF action is to develop the studies and to obtain the environmental and administrative authorizations required for the improvement of the rail and road infrastructure in the urban node of Gdańsk, including interventions both within the Port of Gdańsk Authority S.A. (ZMPG S.A.) and outside it (Municipality of Gdańsk – GMG).
On the basis of the results of the Action investments will be carried out which implies a significant improvement in the connection between the port and the Baltic-Adriatic Core Corridor.
