The project aims to construct a multi-modal digital travel centre as part of a wider project to extend the capacity of the Helsinki airport and its connections in order to improve the connection between the airport, the city centre and the harbours.
The activities include to build a new transfer area and platforms for trains, buses, taxis and indoor parkings for cars and bicycles; besides the construction of a new tunnel connection to the existing train station integrated to the travel centre.
