Vital Nodes Toolbox
The Vital Nodes Toolbox is a process guideline to integrate urban mobility and TEN-T policy. It describes a broad range of methods and approaches for developing a comprehensive policy strategy in a multi-actor context. The enrichment of the Vital Nodes toolbox is related to the six dimensions and includes them as different instruments/tools.
In order to achieve a context-specific approach relevant to the specific urban node and corridor, the Vital Nodes toolbox requires that stakeholders have data, capacity and tools, including models, to be able to formulate SMART objectives and /or their function for the TEN-T network.
